IN NATURE I FIND MY BEST REFUGE TO CONNECT AND CREATE ENDLESSLY
My name is Carla Florencia Didone . I was born on August 11, 1989, in Quilmes, Buenos Aires, and grew up in Mar de Ajó. I spent my entire childhood and preadolescence there, where I was constantly in touch with the inspiration that the sea provides, the freedom to play peacefully in the streets, and invent my own world. I remember having a lot of fun with flowers, snails, seeds, and twigs. Through play, the care and discovery of nature was mutual. In it, I found my best refuge to connect and create endlessly.

THE FOUNDATIONS OF MY CREATIVE BASE
My mother is a school teacher and always encouraged my artistic side, supporting me in each and every one of my choices with complete freedom, love, and enthusiasm. On the other hand, my father, an architect, whose keen interest in the creative world I always admired, shared his projects with me and asked my opinion, which greatly encouraged me to participate. They both worked hard, so my sister and I spent a lot of time playing in the yard or riding our bikes through the streets, feeling free to invent new games and let our imaginations run wild. These first contacts with art, nature, ingenuity, and love were (and are) the creative foundation of my story. When I was 15, we moved to Córdoba, to a town called Villa General Belgrano, where I was fortunate enough to continue strengthening my close connection with my best friend, nature, which shaped my next steps.

MIS PRIMEROS PASOS COMO DISEÑADORA
After finishing high school in Villa General Belgrano, I moved to the capital of Córdoba (Argentina) a few years later to begin studying Apparel and Textile Design, along with a bachelor's degree. Without a doubt, they were five brilliant years of university, and far from forgetting my adventures in such natural settings, I decided to base my thesis on the use of unconventional materials in this field, thus completing my degree in 2013, which to this day ignites all the sparks in me when I create.

THE NEED TO DISCOVER THE WORLD, AND QUENCH MY THIRST FOR MORE
After finishing my studies, I dedicated myself to traveling, because I felt the need to discover the world and quench my thirst for more. I traveled around Europe visiting family and friends, returned to Argentina, and a few months later, I traveled again with my friend Stefy to Uruguay. The following year, along with a friend and my sister, we chose to visit Panama, Costa Rica, and Colombia. After that trip, I decided to go to Brazil, where I lived for a few months. Upon returning to Córdoba, we began planning another trip with my sister, where we toured Chile, Peru, and Bolivia, returning home through northern Argentina.

THE ISLAND OF THE SUN: A BEFORE AND AFTER IN MY STORY
Each and every trip left a mark on me, but the trip to Isla del Sol marked a before and after in my life. There, I encountered the Pachacutek Teaching, an original teaching that involves the journey of my inner journey, the path to my own creation. This journey began in 2016 under the guidance of my great Master, José Luis Parise, an Argentine psychoanalyst, writer, researcher, and international lecturer, recognized for his work in the study of initiatory cultures and the development of the Method of Magic, which combines elements of psychoanalysis, spirituality, and ancestral teachings, providing tools for personal transformation and the conscious creation of reality.

I STOPPED LOOKING OUTSIDE, THAT LIVES INSIDE ME
Beginning my own inner journey opened up a new, completely exciting and infinite universe within me. Since 2016, I've stopped exploring only the outside world to dedicate myself to the journey that truly matters to me. Thus was born Chamana, the brand I created to inspire myself through my creations.
In 2021, I packed my backpack again to explore Barcelona and decided to draw on everything this place and I could offer. I began to create new connections, seeking to move within a creative circle, and through this, I also met many artists with whom we shared feedback, keeping each other's projects alive and moving.
I still travel frequently, and I love to merge Chamana with the traveler's heartbeat that lives within me, because I believe that traveling strengthens and inspires my spirit, filling me with life, passion, and adventure. Today, I continue working to bring Chamana to every corner of the world I travel.
